Forge de Laguiole, great knives. Forge de Laguiole was created in 1987 in France to revive the hand-crafting of knives in the town of Laguiole. In 1988, Philippe Starck creates the first designer Laguiole, with horn, steel and aluminium handles. These become part of the permanent collection of several museums worldwide. In 1995, Forge de Laguiole enlarges its range of products with the introduction of the Le Sommelier corkscrew, winner of the Design Grand Prix at Ambiente, Germany. Priced per unit.

We are proud to present you the new collection of colored Laguiole knife designed by the Studio Design W. of Wilmotte and Associates.

Jean-Michel Wilmotte is an urbanist architect and designer, his activities include industrial design and architecture and he is actually working on more than a hundred projects in France and abroad (Europe, Korea and USA). He worked together with Studio Design W. team for Forge de Laguiole, on the creation of a really improving model of Laguiole knife: this table knife of studio design W. joins a really pure design to some flashing colors.
Each knife has an inalterable steel blade selected among the best steels in the world. The brightening is made with an original and exclusive material which satisfies the strongest criteria's demand.

What make this collection unique are the materials choice (handle in Dacryl) and the original concept.
